Six of Croatia’s monuments are included in World’s historical heritage.

Sibenik is situated at the middle of the Croatian part of the Adriatic coast at the picturesque, indented bay into which flows river Krka, one of the most beautiful Croatian karsts rivers.
There are 1244 islands, islets and reefs at the Croatian part of the Adriatic which makes Croatian archipelago the largest at the Adriatic sea and the second largest in the Mediterranean.
Croatia is divided in three large, different areas. Almost each area has a National park or Nature park and in total there are eight national parks in Croatia.
